STORY

Growing up in Texas, springtime road trips through the Hill Country to visit my grandparents meant watching the miles and miles of roadside covered in bluebonnets and Indian paint brushes. Blankets of these wildflowers cover most medians and fields across the state every spring—it’s truly a sight to see. With a traditional design reminiscent of the small sweet Texas towns we’d drive through, the colors of wildflowers are scattered across the quilt, just like they are in the roadside fields.
