INSPIRATION: The PNW Collection

In the summer of 2013 and the second half of 2018, I spent months traveling up and down through Northern California, Oregon and Washington State, exploring the lakes, rivers, lush forests and coastlines of the Pacific Northwest. It’s a distinct region of the country unlike any other, with its own culture and environment that captivated and inspired me from that very first visit in 2013.

One of the things that stood out to me the most was the power and influence of water in the PNW. It’s an area known for its rainy weather which attributes the landscape with it’s mossy rainforests, towering trees and thickets of roadside blackberries, but it’s also hard to throw a stone without finding a stunning lake or a rushing river, not to mention the dramatic beaches with its powerful waves that dot the coastline.

I wanted to share a few of my favorite photos from my travels throughout this part of the country to show you what informed the colors, designs and the feel of the PNW Collection.
