Subway Tote
Part of our 10 Year Anniversary Design Reissue, the Subway Tote was one of Vacilando’s main staples from the very early days. A favorite of many and durable as hell, it’s still my go-to travel tote. Only available through the end of May.
“When I lived in Brooklyn, my main form of transportation was the subway. Being away from my apartment, without a car and usually out and about for most of the day meant I had to carry everything I needed with me. Which meant I needed a bag. A really good bag.
So like every lady, I was on the hunt for the perfect purse. And I finally found one at a little vintage shop on a quiet street in Williamsburg - it was a soft navy blue canvas tote with four pocket, one in each corner. It fit all my needs, complimented my minimalist style and quickly became my everyday bag.
The Subway Tote is the improved version of my favorite bag. With four external pockets to hold smaller items that you don’t want to have to fish out of the bottom of your purse, the Subway Tote is also roomy enough for groceries, your laptop and books, a day trip to the beach, or simply your everyday must-haves. The super thick cotton straps provide structure and strength and seams are reinforced with heavy duty thread for durability.”
